Columbia River Hotel, Ascend Hotel Collection The Dalles, The Dalles

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean and offered a comfortable stay, although a little on the shabby side. The views overlooking the river and pool were amazing. The service was exceptional, with some of the kindest and most helpful staff I have ever encountered at a hotel. The location was convenient, allowing for a restful sleep and easy access to the pool and the river. The dining experience was decent, but could use some improvement, especially with more seating options for guests.

My stay at the hotel was absolutely enjoyable. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had a lovely balcony overlooking the river. However, the view was only visible from the deck, not inside the room. The service was top-notch, with the staff fulfilling our request for a 1st-floor room promptly. The location was convenient, near the highway and a gas station, without being noisy, and offered a breathtaking view of the Columbia River and the dam. Despite some minor drawbacks like the lackluster dining options, the hotel's overall experience was fantastic.
